The core avatar generation service is provided free of charge. Premium features, when available, are subject to additional terms and fees.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Square Face Generator responsibly and in compliance with all applicable laws. You must NOT:

• Create avatars that depict or promote violence, hatred, discrimination, or illegal activities
• Use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm others
• Create avatars that infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise extract the source code of the generator
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without our express permission
• Overwhelm our servers with excessive requests or engage in denial-of-service attacks
• Redistribute, sell, or license the avatar generation tool itself as a competing service

4. License for Generated Avatars

When you create an avatar using Square Face Generator, you are granted a license to use that avatar subject to the following conditions:

4.1 Personal Use (Free)

You may freely use generated avatars for:

• Personal social media profiles (Discord, Twitter, TikTok, Instagram, etc.)
• Gaming platform avatars (Steam, Xbox, PlayStation, etc.)
• Personal blogs and websites
• Non-commercial creative projects
• Educational purposes

4.2 Content Creator Use

Content creators (YouTubers, Twitch streamers, podcasters) may use avatars for:

• Channel branding and profile pictures
• Video thumbnails and overlays
• Stream alerts and graphics
• Merch that is given away free to viewers

5. Commercial Use

Commercial use of generated avatars requires a commercial license. Commercial use includes:

• Selling merchandise (t-shirts, stickers, prints, etc.) featuring the avatar
• Using avatars in commercial games or applications
• Using avatars in paid advertising or marketing materials
• Including avatars in products or services sold for profit

5.1 Obtaining a Commercial License

To obtain a commercial license:

• Small Projects: Purchase a Lifetime plan which includes a small project commercial license
• Large Projects: Contact us directly for custom licensing terms

6. Intellectual Property

The Square Face Generator service, including but not limited to:

• The website design and user interface
• The underlying avatar generation technology
• The base artwork and asset library
• All documentation and guides

...are the intellectual property of Square Face Generator and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of our tools, technology, or base assets without express written permission.

7. User Content & Submissions

If you submit content to Square Face Generator (such as avatars for the gallery, feedback, or feature requests):

• You retain ownership of your submissions
• You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and promote submitted content
• You represent that your submissions do not violate the rights of any third party
• We may remove submissions at our discretion

8. Premium Services

Premium features (when available) are subject to these additional terms:

8.1 Billing

• Pro subscriptions are billed monthly and renew automatically
• Lifetime purchases are one-time payments with no recurring charges
• Prices are subject to change with notice

8.2 Refunds

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on all premium purchases. Contact us within 30 days of purchase for a full refund, no questions asked.

8.3 Cancellation

You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time. You will retain access until the end of your current billing period.

9. API Terms

If you use the Square Face Generator API, you additionally agree to:

• Keep your API keys secure and not share them publicly
• Respect rate limits and usage quotas
• Not use the API to create a competing service
• Attribute Square Face Generator in your application where reasonable

API access may be revoked for violations of these terms or excessive usage.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Warranties that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free

We do not guarantee that generated avatars will be suitable for any particular purpose or platform.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SQUARE FACE GENERATOR SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Any loss of profits, revenue, data, or use
• Any damages arising from your use or inability to use the service

Our total liability for any claims shall not exceed the amount you paid us (if any) in the twelve months preceding the claim.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Square Face Generator, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any rights of a third party
• Content you create or submit through the Service
